Navneet Education Ltd. launches ‘Youva’ – A new stationery avatar

A brand new TVC that represents the ‘Art of being Smart’

Mumbai, May 24, 2016: Schools are about to reopen and the excitement to flaunt brand new notebooks, erasers, pens and crayons are setting in. Today’s young generation is constantly trying to stand out and accomplish different creative challenges. And to help them achieve this, Navneet Education Ltd has announced the launch of its new stationery brand for paper and non-paper stationery vertical – Youva- The Art of Being Smart. To reinforce the attributes of the brand, Navneet Education Ltd has adopted a 360-degree integrated marketing campaign, which includes a new TVC as well as extensive digital activations, targeting the brand’s core target audience. The TVC will be aired from Sunday, May 29, 2016.

In today’s digital day and age, students spend a good part of their day on social media (sharing images/videos, talking to each other, making new friends and expressing their opinion on current news. Social media plays a very important medium used by the youth to communicate. The new campaign taps into this element which has become an integral part of the lives of the young generation. The campaign shows how students in a college are initially unhappy by the ban imposed on access to social media use in the college. But with smart thinking, and using the Youva range of stationery as a tool, they come up with an idea which allows them to have the same social media experience, even when they are not online. They stay within the boundaries, yet they don’t stop having fun. The entire stationery range of Youva allows them to come out winners. Even the principal (who was the one to impose the ban) acknowledges their smart thinking.

Under the paper stationery category, Youva will include long books, note books, drawing books, practical books, casebound books, scrap/project books, craft papers, paper rolls. While the non-paper segment will comprise of pencils, erasers, sharpeners, geometry boxes, rulers, crayons, oil pastels, plastic crayons, synthetic & white glue. Youva branded products under both the categories will be available across India at all leading book and stationery stores.

Delhi, May 2016: Dr Shashi Tharoor was seen inaugurating Armaan Malhotra’s Art Exhibition at Alliance France Art Gallery.

Armaan Malhotra, founder of One Step Forward (OSF) a Non-Governmental Organization which works against Terrorism & supports War Widows.

Dr Shashi Tharoor was a special guest where he motivated people to take that one step forward in their lives and try to move on and lead better lives because they deserve it.

One Step Forward intend on conducting workshops appreciating various creative forms the proceeds of which will go to the affected victims. They plan on spreading the word with our work and projects in the terrorist affected states in India and hope to stop terrorism worldwide.

It has been said pretty openly now that each individual needs to fend for himself in the war against terror. Security threats have dramatically evolved in the 21st century and are not confined to national boundaries any longer. New criminal networks tend to be interconnected and organized and the lines between crime and terrorism have become blurred. 

The main objective of OSF would be to educate and make citizens aware of the kind of threats India is facing and about the psyche of the terrorists so that they are aware and well equipped psychologically to deal with the fall out of terrorism and how adversely it affects the peace of our country.

Armaan Malhotra kick started this noble drive in January, 2016 as it is his belief that every responsible human need to study counter terrorism as a subject. This subject becomes more important considering the number of terrorist attacks India and the world is facing today. OSF works to ensure better co-ordination, strengthened coherence and more efficient use of its resources in addressing the everyday challenges faced by the affected. 

Our efforts lie in preparing people to identify potential threats and take note of suspicious behavior of people. 

Another matter of concern which is very close to OSF is the state of War Widows in our country. We plan on taking good care of them as we feel the kind of suffering they go through is incomparable and this distress demands special attention.

Armaan Malhotra, a student of Modern School is currently studying in 11th  standard. He has been very active and fond of various sports, mainly lawn tennis with MBTT Academy and has won numerous trophies in singles and doubles. He loves to read, travel and discuss politics.

Compassionate by nature, Armaan has always been committed to supporting the underprivileged in his own way through organizing blood donation camps at his grandfather’s organization as well as donating two water coolers with his own pocket money. It was his brainchild to reach out to the youth regarding the anti terrorism campaign to educate them about it. He is deeply concerned with the growing terrorism globally and feels that it has to be rightly understood at the grassroot level, and therefore this entire campaign was initiated.

Marathi Cinema has made rapid strides in the recent times in the genres of drama, action and historical films.
Here is an original character that of Vyankatesh Bhonde, a middle aged man living in the Mumbai chawls. Being an ex-policeman and still residing in a chawl speaks of his integrity. But what the story unfolds subsequently is that this middle-aged guy is an animal lover too.
We have a locked flat and the police are here to investigate a murder. They hear a dog’s bark from inside the locked flat, which when opened reveals a woman lying in a pool of blood and calmly sitting besides her is her pet dog.
