Engage in a thrilling challenge of ‘Tower Running’ organised by Sports365 for the first time ever in Mumbai

Giving out the strong message of healthy living and slashing down those few extra weight
through the regular use of stairs, Sports365 comes up with a worldwide event ‘Skyscraper
Dash’.It is a unique running event and is the first of its kind organised in Mumbai. After
capturing the imagination of fitness enthusiasts in Bangalore, the social platform Sports365 India
is all set to get people of Mumbai to scale up the tallest commercial tower in India this year.
Stair running is one of the fastest growing sports around the world. There were over 300 such
races across Asia, North and South America, Europe and Australia in 2013. This year
‘Skyscraper- DASH ‘will take place at the Kohinoor Square tower, Dadar.

The participants need to climb 52 floors, 1250 stairs, a vertical height of 203 meters in a single
dash from the base to the top of the Kohinoor Square tower. Hydration, energy drinks and
refreshments will be provided to all runners along with a run medal. They also can enjoy
amazing views of the Bandra Sea link.

There will be prizes for the top 3 Male and Female participants. Participation charges are Rs
600 per head and 50 % of the registration fees will be donated to charity. All registrations will
be open till December 14.

Sports365 India is a unique social platform that organises unique sport engagement activities
and programmes for all athletics. The mission is to provide adults of all ages and skill levels a
fun, competitive and social platform for sports on a regular basis. It was founded in the year
2011 and has organized a wide range of traditional as well as unusual sports over the last 3
years, ranging from ultimate Frisbee, to badminton, football and cricket. Many of the unique
activities include pioneered multi-sport and unique races in India, including triathlons, obstacle
running, duathlons, and aquathlons (swimming + running). The biggest event organised was
XWarrior Race. India’s Urban Obstacle Race, was organized by them twice in Delhi, withover
3,000 participants.
