Gargie Verma's music video wins Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival Award

Music Video Triya won “Excellence Award” at the world renowned Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival for raising voice to support Rape Victims



Gargie Verma, who is a recording artist and performer from Delhi had recently came up with an album “Triya” based on ignorance against rape in our country. She had already done a huge no of concerts and recordings for songs, jingles and voice over and has been given her voice for programs coming on AIR. She had learnt Indian music from Delhi University and got the knowledge of western music from trinity university, London.

 
"Triya" has been written, composed and sung by Gargie. She also acted in the same. Triya has not only won the Best Music Video-2014 at the Bangalore Film Festival- 2014 but also have won Excellence Award at the worlds renowned Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. Gargie had tried to voice against injustice with girls in her album. Triya not only as a song touches many hearts but also as a powerful video shows its worth in which the pain and suffering is very aptly enacted. It is a message to the victims and survivors of rape to live strong, face the world, follow their dreams and fight for them, as well as, to the society to change their outlook for girls to think better and live beyond.
 
 
Gargie Verma has been a promising singer and artist so far and she has proved herself by creating such a great piece of art.
