Amalgamation brings together budding artists

“Art Floor” hosts - “AMALGAMATION”
The group show brings together Gulrez Ali, Mamta Vora,
Dimple Vasa, and Aparimita Sapru.

Participating Artists:

Gulrez Ali
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
His abstracts have a very endearing and refreshing quality. Having participated in an art
exhibition at Tongeren, Belgium in October 2012 along with 29 other internationally
renowned artists, Gulrez has already made his mark internationally. The artist and his
colors are racing to reach back to childhood innocence, which is visible in his vibrant art.

Mamta Vora
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Having done various solo and group shows at places like Nehru Center, Mumbai, Cymroza Art
Gallery, Kala Ghoda, and India Art Festival, she is a talented artist from Sophia College,
Mumbai. Her work displays a vibrant color palette that draws one to her work.

Dimple Vasa
Medium: Acrylic & oil on canvas
This self taught artist has done many successful shows including solo at India Art
Festival, Mumbai, and group show at Bhubaneswar. She loves experimenting with the
abstract form as a means of self expression which is clearly reflected in the textural
quality of her works.

Aparimita Sapru
Medium: Pen & ink on paper and canvas
A graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art, she has done solo shows at India Habitat Center,
India Art Festival, and group shows at Art Junction, Delhi, Gallery Alternative, Gurgaon,
Artoholics Gallery, Delhi, and Jehangir Art Gallery. Her work speaks for itself with the
intricacy of the patterns and the bold use of pen creating spell binding images in black
and white.
